About the book
No Neutral Companion is a near-future family story about a girl who grows up alongside an AI companion that grows with her. Renn helps her learn, play, navigate friendships, understand the world, and eventually make increasingly complicated choices.
As AI becomes more useful, more personal, and more deeply connected to everyday life, the story asks a harder question: what does it mean for something to know you well enough to know what works on you?
